Role: Product Design Lead
I oversaw the entire design process from the initial prototype through the end of production and managed a team of in-house designers and outside vendors.

In collaboration with curriculum developers, I created a template and design system, to accommodate a wide array of content presented in a way that is both engaging for students and easy to use for teachers. This system created an efficient workflow and resulted in a high-quality product that fit within a tight budget and timeline.

In order to provide assistance to both teachers and students in understanding each exercise, we replaced long and often complicated directions for teacher demonstrations with clear visuals by producing video and photo assets for each unit.

Special attention was also given to student activities. In partnership with curriculum developers, we streamlined the instructions and created engaging instructive visuals.

Photo assets were created and included whenever possible. These are helpful cues for both teachers and students on what materials they should have on hand.
